How Do You Know How Old The Backlinks Are In Majestic?

The exact question was: hi guys thanks for answering my question last week. I have a question about backlinks on majestic. I bought an expired domain and on one of the backlinks majestic says the date first indexed was Jan 2022. But when i visit the site that contains the backlink, the backlink is from 2016. if this backlink was made 6 years ago, but majestic only first indexed it 6 months ago, how do you know how old the backlinks are?
