How Do You Restrict Access To A GSite?

The exact question was: Hi guys, first of all thanks for the great value you offer. I've missed the last episodes but for a good reason, my business is growing and, in part, thanks to ideas and answers you provide here. I can tell you that the key is persistence. Execute and refine. It only take a few clients to make it worth. I've just landed a 4-year deal with a multinational corporation that found us via google ads. The thing is we now need to hire and train new employees. I wanted to develop a basic website with some processes (video & written) and exercises before assigning them any project. But I don't want to make the content publicly available. So, is there any platform/application you recommend to restrict the access? I saw google promoting their Gsites for training employees (which has great integration of course), but no chance to password protect it. Any other suggestions?
