Can You Delete A Subdomain And Redirect It To The Root Without Passing A Penalty

In episode 164 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LG23JHihsP0), one participant asked one can delete a subdomain and redirect it to the root without passing a penalty. The exact question was: if i get a penalty on the www.domain.com can i delete the subdomain (www.) and redirect ist to the root (domain.com) without passing the penalty? Or is it better to just delete (www.) it without redirecting it and installing on the root? And also will that remove the penalty in general when i delete the www.? #subdomain #redirectdomain #googlepenalty More videos about SEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20AURKe0smg&list=PL1oO3mUVEcfpUc753HsfSJpvv4bicf5_M More videos about SEO Questions Answered on Hump Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYv44gXnC68&list=PL1oO3mUVEcfo33kNReI6LwcM3MfgGoVpm Start with the Battleplan - your "Art of War" Playbook that combines decades of distilled SEO Experience and Cutting Edge Practices: https://ift.tt/2rmHAjA Ready to start OR grow profitable local digital marketing agency?
